Production automation & machine integration
BEYWARE brings mechanics, controls and software together in a coordinated production workflow. We start with the workpiece, cycle time and existing equipment. A concept describes how a new function can be integrated, operated and maintained. Machine changes require clear technical and organisational acceptance.
When it is a good fit
For manufacturers with recurring operations or an existing line that needs an additional function. An early discussion is especially useful when controls, the operator interface and IT integration need to be planned together.
What we clarify first
Safety requirements and necessary inspections are assessed for the specific machine. A project description or software test is not machine approval or certification. Responsibilities for design, modification and acceptance are agreed before work starts.
What you receive
An integration concept
Workflow, space, timing, workpiece handling and interfaces to the existing line are considered together.
Controls and operation
Sequences, parameters and feedback are aligned with the operator workflow. The drilling project combines PLCnext, OPC UA and a teaching tool.
Handover documentation
Interfaces, electrical planning and changes should remain understandable to the responsible team. Required documents become part of the project scope.
From first discussion to pilot
- 01
Understand the line
Review workpieces, cycle times, existing controls and operation.
- 02
Agree the concept
Plan mechanics, interfaces and safety requirements together.
- 03
Test the function
Evaluate sequences and edge cases against agreed criteria.
- 04
Prepare handover
Define acceptance, documentation and operational responsibilities.
A look at our work
An automated drilling unit
The documented project covers an additional drilling step with multi-axis mechanics, controls, a teaching tool and electrical planning. The concept was approved. This stage should be distinguished from completed commissioning.

Does BEYWARE sell an off-the-shelf drilling unit?
The drilling unit is a project-specific showroom example, not a standard product in the catalogue. Adapting it to another line starts with that line’s requirements.
What information is useful for the first discussion?
Workpiece drawings, target hole patterns or other operations, cycle times, a line overview and details of existing controls are useful. Share confidential documents only through an agreed channel.
Can integration avoid changes to the existing equipment?
That can only be established after reviewing interfaces and safety requirements. We clarify which changes are needed and their impact on operation and acceptance.
What would you like to solve?
Describe the current workflow, the systems involved and your desired result. We will discuss whether and how implementation makes sense.
